How do you turn sustainability from a strategic ambition into everyday thinking, decision-making, and business practice?
This was the key question for TBC Bank, one of Georgia’s largest and most influential financial institutions, as the country took decisive steps toward sustainable finance and ESG integration.
With the introduction of the Sustainable Finance Taxonomy by the National Bank of Georgia, organizations faced an urgent need to build internal capabilities, raise awareness, and translate ESG principles into concrete actions. To support this shift, TBC Bank partnered with DEVELOR, with financial support from the EU, to co-create the Green Mindset and Green Business programs as part of its ESG Academy.
The initiative was designed to strengthen environmental awareness, overcome resistance to sustainability topics, and equip employees and clients with practical tools to act responsibly — both in their daily work and in their broader business decisions.
